Very interesting! I agree that the bud looks like a lima bean, but the flower is very pretty.

It does win the 'Very Cool Contest'. The coloring is rather pretty, too. I have a few odd ones and I am rather fond of them. Sometimes, it isn't just the appearance but the history or science that makes a plant really fascinating for me. I really enjoyed the pictures and explanation of how it works!
