Beautiful but why wont you pill the old sheet layers. They might be a hidden place for mealybugs.

Actually I have no idea about the old sheet layers that it can be harmful for the plant by this way. So thanks for this information.
I have one question in my mind. Is it possible that the old pseudobulbs of Cyanoses or Catasetum can produce flower spike next year? I don’t know the answer because this plant blooms first time in my house. I have another 2 catasetum from last two years but have not bloom and their old pseudobulbs are now without leaf condition.

I'm not usually a fan of this genus, but I really love the colours on this one!
