Cycnoches warscewiczii
The Taiwanese nursery Sun Moon attended our orchid show in September. They brought some strong fat leafless pseudobulbs of Catasetinae for sale. This one was labelled Cycnoches chlorochilon but is in fact Cycnoches warscewiczii. All credits for the great growing are owed to the nursery.
Shown here are male flowers with a great addictive fragrance.
The mistaken identity has confused some readers of this forum before, so here is the link again:

The spikes can grow roots that high up on the bulb?

Awesome! I have two babies spiking now (warscewiczii that is). It is so hard to tell these two apart. Thus the primary hybrid name Mass Confusion... Very nice flowers

Very pretty flowers. And this species (as well as chlorochilon) has one of the best fragrances of any orchid, in my opinion. Congratulations on your fantastic acquisition.
