The bulbs have shriveled too much. Some drops of water along the rim of the pot help to stand the dry season better.

Terrific color on the flower. The picture makes it look like it's trying to make a statement, like a sign of life coming from something dead looking. Perseverance.

suffering plant with only one flower, but the color and texture is so nice!

I took this plant in May this year. few months ago the oldest bulbs started to become little bit soft. I thought it could be start of some fungal infection so I have treated them with fungicide and forced to rest - put them out of media and dry out. I did not expect blooming just wanted to keep the plant alive. the youngest bulb which is blooming is fine, it is sturdy and not shriveled(only small part is very left in picture ).
I was very surprised with spike.
