Beautiful colour and shape of the flower is quite similar with Phaius that astonished me. This is the 1st time I hear about the species.

I have baueri...spiking as I type. This has been a difficult genus for me to get the hang of. Which I find to be odd because I don't have trouble w/other dormancy types. After a few failed attempts at growing them...I might finally be getting the hang of it though. [she types hopefully]
You do so well w/so many unusual orchids that i bet you do great w/this one. Good luck!

Pretty, blooms are awesome. You'll love this, the blooms last quite awhile. I just acquired the Leptoceras at our recent show. It's been in bloom sine Oct 18. I'm loving it and anxious to get more

Thank you, I think leaves are deciduous and it blooms on leafless bulbs.
