This pseudobulb of Mormodes Revoluta is giving me the third new growth from the mid of the plant in one year. I am now normally watering the plant, but I am not sure this is right... The first two growth fell off accidentally, and became two single plants (but they seemed to be underdeveloped).
If this were mine...I would hold off a bit longer and let the growth get to be about 4". I also like to see the roots longer and reaching down into the medium before I water.
If the mature growth begins to shrivel too much you can set the pot in a very little bit of water and allow it to absorb it up from the bottom. Not so much that the medium gets soaked...just enough to moisten things a bit. From the bottom only right now because these plants are very susceptible to rot at this stage.
