They were all so cool. I would have done serious damage if I had not made my self see the big picture. Next may after graduation somewhere with a big orchid shop!!!! My family may not know this yet but yes.

And I slipped and order a Mon. Witchcraft to replace my dead one. And it's in spike so I think that makes it about 150....no more chids...pfft yeah right!

Your plants are starting to go down for the season. Nothing to worry about.

I got 12 seedlings from Fred in mid-July and a couple of those are starting to get the yellow, I am tired, leaves and I want to go to sleep.

Ditto what Brooke said. Those look great.

FWIW - I have a number of plants that are starting to show some signs of the coming dormancy period. 'Tis the season.

Your plants look really good. Mine arrived today too...I still have to take pics and update my thread :P I think he may have a lot of the gift orchid, or he just packed ours at the same time because I got the exact same thing. When/if we get them to bloom we can compare the siblings!

Or maybe it is a new hybrid? How cool would that be?

Okay so SVO ordering vets. What is the dark green/black kinda sticky stuff on the top of the media is this like a anti fungal stuff? The under media is the normal light tan color.

Moisture + sunlight + fertilizer = fast algae. It is nothing to worry about.

I checked today and I have the Lovena and the Portagee Star and one of them is popping a little spike.
