Default Fredclarkeara After Dark

Last year I went through great efforts to get this plant to bloom. I dried the plant out (withheld watering) and let the leaves fall. Ultimately, the plant bloomed with two long sprays of flowers. This year, two flower spikes appeared as the plant bulbs reached maturity. I was still fertilizing and watering the plant on a regular basis when I saw the flower spikes at the base of the bulb. There were more flowers last year but I liked appearance of this year's bloom with all the leaves still on the plant.

Magnificent !
There's no sign of spikes on mine, despite lush leaf growth - as much as yours.
