The last 6 or so days have been very interesting to say the least...Friday I received what I thought was my plant from one of my fav. Sellers. Well before I could get home I got an email saying they sent me the wrong one. Same plant name etc just an unsettled one. So they allowed me to keep my itty bitty one and sent me this monster that I paid for. I am more than happy. At first I feared it was a virus making my small one droopy/ and or shock from new environments. Well thanks to the board they reminded me and pointed out the roots were not to bueno. I pray I can rehab it and am able to give it as a Christmas gift.....yeah probably not....

So heres the big one vs. Small one. The big one has a great root system it came in bark and shall stay in bark mix until it falls asleep then idk what I shall moce it to.

Oh AND THE BIG ONE HAS DEVELOPED A SPIKE!!!!! EEEK!

Wow, looks good! Can't wait to see bloom pictures!

Good luck rehabing the other plant; I enjoy the process (as long as they make it).

Thanks, I am praying it will pull through and I can give it as a gift. i am going to follow the instructions i was given. The coloring is so different from my others. I kinda think its an extra freebie of you get an u expected spike from the plant 2.

Wow! I don't blame you for keeping your plants indoors. I have a couple of grasshoppers munching, but nothing near that amount at one given time, you definitely win the grasshopper contest!

Yeah and scary thing is these are the small ones. Our big ones are black and yellow and sound like hummingbirds when they take off.

Update on the baby....pretty sure it wont survive it has completely collapsed. I HATE THAT!

MY BIG ONE: has become slightly wilted but its not terrible and no where squishy like my baby. Theres that at least...right? With a good spike growing. It will be driving with me to my field placement for the next few weeks.

@@ Katrina I finally found (read:rembered! Haha) the time release osmocote and added it to all my heavy feeders.
