Default Stanhopea June Bride 'I Do'

This is one of Doug Pulleys hybrids and is (panamensis X [tigrina X wardii]). The fragrance is like that of stan. wardii.

Those are fantastic. Really a stunning hybrid--and great that it's inherited the scent of wardii.

Wonderful! How long do the flowers last and what conditions are you growing in - temp, light?

I have been growing my first Stanhopea since April and just posted pics, so super keen to read and learn about other's experiences with this genus.

I grow under floresent lights on light carts in the winter and outside in the spring and summer. The temps are mostly intermediate to cool. The flowers only last 3 to 4 days but can last up to a week if you can keep then at about 50 to 60 degrees. I don't grow any of the primitive stanhopea that require warmer temps.
