catasetum planiceps
one of my favorite hooded catasetums (i believe many will disagree with me). hahaha
this is the second and third spike but as this plant gets bigger, the longer the cycle for each PB to mature it takes. since sprouting of the new growth till now is five months, and the pb is still relatively immature, and this species has a long period of dormancy. in my hands, near up to four months! that would give an average of 2 to 3 PB for every two years!! my hair would turn grey when i own a decent clump of this planiceps. hahahaha
