Default Double trouble

My Coryanthes picturata is in bloom again this time it is a double bloom. I am so happy that it is now blooming regularly. Since it began to bloom in April, this is the third spike and there are another three on the go.

i am not sure that is a picturata, it looks like another coryanthes species , unless it is a color form that i was not aware of, i think yours could be something else, regardless of what it is, congratulations on growing this one, coryanthes are plants that enjoy VERY VERY acidic media, and by no means an easy to grow plant. (based on my experience)

i have my coryanthes picurata in bloom, i am posting only one image for reference only, the picture is the regular color form of the species, hence the "picturata" name,

i will create its own thread later this week, as i feel i am hijacking your thread. and that is not the idea

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering if it was a picturata or not as the images on google are different but they often seem to be with coryanthes. I have just repotted mine so I hope it continues to spike. I am a coryanthes addict now and can't wait to get my hands on some more. I will contact the seller again. Feel free to post your beauty if you like - it's fine
