I am no expert but I looked for pictures online and there were to or 3 that were almost identical to this...maybe someone will be a better knowledge of these will know.
May I ask how do you grow these? I ordered one and it had some sort of fungal issue and died. It is beautiful by the way!!!

Thanks it is beautiful but it smells even better than it looks. I grew mine in front of a south / west facing window. I water it with a diluted mix of nitrogen fert. every watering and it get sprayed with a mister regularly. I stopped watering and feeding from about November and only resumed in April when what I thought were new growths turned out to be spikes!! It is really going for it now, another three spikes on the way. I have had it for just under a year but this is the first time that it has bloomed for me. I had to move it into the front room in order for it to get enough light - I was told they liked it darker but it needed brighter light as I have since found out now that it has finally bloomed.

I will have to keep my eyes on finding another one! I read how they catch bees with that smell and that's how they get pollinated.

But I also would not want to meet something like this in a dark ally! Hehe!

There is a website over there called Colombian orchid Imports Catalog Colombian Orchid Imports and they have the best range of Coryanthes. I have searched all over the European websites and can you believe that there are none available right now?

It is supposed to drip nectar into the bucket at the bottom but mine isn't doing that because it is slightly deformed and the nectar dripping things have not formed properly so I will have to wait for the next blooms to mature for that.
