I'm loving it. I have one ctsm in bloom now, and at last count 10 spikes on different plants, all of the same cross. Good growing!

I envy your warm weather....you must have given them proper rest. The canes are still plump and have not shrunk, yet you have robust roots on those healthy new growths.

Thanks everyone. @ Bud this is just within 24 weeks. They grew slooooooooowwwwwwlllllyyyyy most of the winter until around february when i moved them to another part of my house. Seemed to do the trick. And trust me u dont envy this bc it is miserably warm already. I am afraid of how hot and dry our summer shall be. Monday is a high of 55 so and then warmed back up again. So i hope they will be okay in the greenhouse 4 1 chilly night.

Wow I envy u! My only tebaborosum spike fizzled out...so nada there. But I do have lots of new growth so i am happy.

I was actually quite shocked by how well the roots look. I have been keeping them turned away from the heat source though as not to bake them.

Five of my Catasetinae have also given me six inches growth and I have followed and used Euplusia's sawdust media in repotting....it is still indoors since we still have chilly nights in NYC....so we will see....

They look good. Can they withstand half day morning light and some rain now, in your area?

Update....dont be jealous of our weather....the wind picked up this morning and my green house was blown over along with my plants. Busted pots. Bent leaves...finally broke down and went and got some stakes to hold it down. B/C my weather fairies have decided we are in Odessa on an oil rig.... geez.

Grrrr....we have a 1 day cold front come in high in the 50's w frost/freeze temps possible....for the evening....took 4 hours to clean up and move all my tropicals out...this is not very funny...and I now get to wait to order pots to put my plants in that are big/heavy enough to hold my catesetums upright bc I cant find aby that will work...there are days when when I really wished I live anywhere but Texas for the nutty weather we have...

Try Missouri, high 70s and low 80s the past 3 days, snow this afternoon. I don't get it either. That's why I built a grow room. Mother nature is too unpredictable. Hopefully this will be the last of it for your plants sake.
