a very weak "sweet" type of smell, dunno how to describe the actual smell, just smell sweet to me. but really got to stick the nose near to it as the scent is weak. the only good thing is that it will not hit you with an ejected pollina as you sniff them. LOL

i planted them same as all my catasetums, in plastic or clay pot with 100% charcoal. occasional sytrofoam nuggets in the bottom.
