I must be doing somthing wrong
I have 5 plants that need a winter rest. The Den aggregatum I have had for 2 years and it bloomed for me last year, only a couple of flowers. the others, Calanthe rosea, Chysis leavis, Monn. Millenium Magic Witchcraft and catasstum Frilly Doris, I got this year. They are doing nothing. No flowers No new growth. I have not watered them since Halloween, I have read the svo thing on culture so I think I might have done something backward. Are they suppost to flower before winter rest and losing their leaves? I 'm so confused lol

The third picture is toast, no hope for that one.
The first picture looks like its well on its way to looking like the third one. I wish I knew something about Calanthe to help you out.
The Monnierara (2nd pic) looks great so keep it up!
Chysis (4th pic) don't like to be nearly as dry as Catasetums during their dormancy, so you might want to start hitting that with water 1x per week or so.

thanks for your help. Yes the third one is my frilly doris, and it was small to begin with, and the one I most wanted to save. the Frilly doris and the chysis leavis I gave a small bit of water to and the chysis is looking abit better. hope I can find another Frilly to replace the one that's toast . Thank you all for the input.

What orchid society do you belong to in Michigan? And I agree about the cold; it sure us something this year!
