Default Stanhopea Hidden Agenda

This is the second flowering this year. I pollenated one of the flowers in June when it last flowered and the seed capsule is nearly mature. The fragrance smells like wintergreen. It is Stan. (insignis X posadae).

Just stunning! Stanhopea hybrids so rarely improve on the parents. This one definitely dies!

I'm trying to imagine wintergreen fragrance on an orchid. Sounds wonderful, really. Thanks for posting that.
