nope, i grow it with charcoal media, same as most of my catasetums. but i may think this one may need slightly less watering (same goes for the denticulatum) than other robust catasetum counterparts, |

yes indeed, the fragrance of this one is rather "sweet", unlike the conventional minty smell of most catasetums |
