Hope the seller will switch it for you, though that is a great orchid! Loads more leaves than mine, and you wouldn't pay that little for a spiking plant over here.
Note to the other buyer: if you are going to do last minute bids, don't make them round figures like 10 or 5. In this case 30.01 would have won it *G*

The code is for mailing list friends and live in USA, but here is the code I got in an email "ORCHIDS", sadly I don't live in the States so can't use this one.

Well he is going to send it to the other member for me but he wont cancel my order. So I messaged back and asked if the other member was going to be getting it with reduced shipping to go with his order why on God's green earth would I be paying for shipping as well. Probably do not need to be messaging vendors when have had a VERY stressful day at school...I could see bad ju ju in my future if not careful.

I would have thought the best way to sort it out would be if he offered it as a 'second chance offer' to the other bidder. Maybe he doesn't know about doing that? That way they'd be able to buy it at the price they bid, and pay postage as normal. Your sale simply wouldn't continue, which would mean a slight bad mark. The vendor would have to pay a fee for the second offer though, and claim back the ones for your sale that didn't go through, so it is extra trouble for them. It is a pain for a vendor when this sort of thing happens (I've had it...)
I'm not clear on the postage issue: is he still sending something else to you? If so, then yes, the vendor should expect extra postage if he's sending things to two different places. You can't expect him to take a loss like that. If the postage he's going to have to pay out is the same though, then he should be charging the same.

No we got it all figured out now. My friend had a bid going as well and won his as well. So the vendor made me pay the regular shipping and he paid the consolidated shipping. They are sending it to him, and my friend is sending me a mormode! Something I have really wanted as well. It will even out with shipping and tax that way.

I have really wanted mormodes but they are hard to come by and sorta kinda like a lot expensive. haha. So this works amazingly.
