Catasetum expansum album
A creamy white variety of this species with a tinge of light green.

The shape is a bit strange, but the color is nice. First bloom?

Once I lent a booklet printed in Ecuador on very bad paper quality. This booklet depicted a hundred or more colour varieties of catasetum expansum. It is a highly variable species. Admittedly I am not sure if all of them can be considered as pure expansums. Huge hybrid swarms influenced by macroglossum may occur.
A few plants were given to me by padre Angel Andreetta himself, so this confirms the id.
Here is another plant with a narrow lip. Enjoy.

did the labellum eventually flattened out and slightly everted to the back as the flower matures?
