Catasetum callosum
A species from Colombia, Venezuela and the Guianas, prefering evenly warm conditions and only a short winter rest. The plant stayed asthenic over the years, maybe the winter rest was too long.

Glad you like it.
To the question of isurus: This species has a wide range of color variations, especially of the lip. The lip can be dark brown, ochre, green, even light green, white, rose and maybe also yellow. Doing a Google picture search reveals that dark forms are the most common however.
There are forms with marked and long processes of the lip resembling barbatum.
A white form of callosum is known from Colombia. This spring I bought one from Andrea Niessen, but it turned out to be macrocarpum.
The label of the plant above says 'callosum var. cooperi', but nowhere I found a citation of such a variety.
