That was my understanding but I really don’t know.
I use two rooting hormones for my other non orchids, clonex (a gel, lots of weed growers use and swear by this rooting agent) and a powder that’s just called rooting powder lol
I assumed this was a similar product

Yes, Dip N Grow is a auxin rooting hormone solution.
Dip'N Grow - OrchidSupply.com
I think with regards to orchids, it's sometimes used to encourage new root growth on plants that don't have a robust root system.
I was thinking that maybe auxin could be used to force new roots out of dormant pbulbs, and then maybe that could "wake up" the pbulbs?
Applying keiki paste to the eyes on the pbulbs seems like a generally better way of getting new growth to appear.

I think Ray has addressed this at some point, but I can't remember where. I believe he said something to the effect that you can't "force" new growth with auxin applications. I don't believe you can wake up old bulbs that way either.
I believe the rooting hormones are different than the new growth hormones too, so applying one does not equate into both new growth and roots.

Hmmm so I've heard that this hybrid is infertile. Anyone know any information about this?

Well, that's unfortunate =/

OH and today was a warm day, so I repotted a few Ctsm! I repurposed a few used Talenti™ ice cream jars and turned them into pots. I thought they'd be good for this task since they're the right size and they're clear, so you can see the root growth and media.
I drilled holes in the bottom for drainage, and removed the label ink with acetone. Oh and on the bottom there's a small layer of rocks to keep the pots from becoming too top-heavy, and also for drainage.
