@lynninmichigan bright bright light good watering never soaked but not dried completely...feed weakly weekly...winter rest mandatory..im new to these and now have 4 and they are all doing really well.

Okay dont want to steal a thread but once these bloom, and finish do we begin the winter rest?

Mine is in the process of blooming and has now lost all of its leaves..

Oh and soooo can't wait for mine to finish opening! For now ill shall live through yours! And your gorgeous pictures! Also several of my classmates all thought this was so neat and perfect for halloween!!!

Thanks, I didn't think to check E-bay.....for some reason. Probably cause I was hoping to find it at the show all in bud I hope so I can watch it bloom!

Kawamotto orchids had them in double spike is where I got mine.

They still have them found one bid is at 19.99 but I am sure they have several of them still

Very cool, I'll check it out if I get disappointed at the show. I know I'll pay more at the show but I might get a better plant and of course instant consumer gratification. Yes, an American affliction!

Hehe! Well I will say I have yet to have a bad plant from kawamotto and I have ordered 12 or so times from them now. They are always supreme condition. I have not killed one yet either even my den that hates me has survived and that is one of theirs.

So I guess this baby has been around for awhile. Readily available and not expensive. I will keep that vendor in mind for future acquisitions!

Yep well this is the first i have seen it. But I think they must have had a lot come into spike at once and ar3 now selling them. When I bought mine they had 15 up for bid or buy
