let it grow first before you think of resting it....its a baby in growth mode= it will give you flowers since the other back bulbs have nourished it and gave it energy....when you repot this do not unpot it again, let it be....bright light and warmth with high humidity.....feed it weekly weakly....
when the leaves turn yellow and falls off then its time to rest it
Okay im leaving it be after my initial check. My much larger frilly doris has yet to go into rest mode. So I was wondering about this little guy.its going in my window with my other two catasetum, dove and flask kids so will have good humidity.
you have great instincts about your plants....I like it that you ask questions when in doubt....its hard to just dive in blindly on matters that you need guidance and info
Thank you. Im a all or nothing person. Plus this one is of really neat parentage and I dont want to kill it. These also do well in my zone. So I REALLY dont want to kill them lol. My monn. Millennium should bloom any day now. The blooms are beginning to bulge a bit. I am also seeing definitive marks of petal separation.
