Monnierara Millenium Magic Spike???

Did you use the Orangeguard on both spikes?

I ask because the buds on both spikes have what I would say is a claw-like appearance and this is not the way they should look like on this type of plant. The bud should not be opening they way they are at this stage.
I'm thinking if the second spike did not receive the spray the chances are good that the flowers will end up mutated but hopefully its a one time only occurance.

Unfortunately I did use the spray on the whole plant. Second spike is still green, but it is the later one, so who knows, I may loose both. It sucks but nothing I can do at this time,so will see
