First thing I thought of when I saw the buds was candy drops. When I saw the blooms I thought of banana chips. I must be hungry!

All the flowers are long gone now.
The funny thing is that the yellowing of the leaves have stopped, and the whole is green and fresh looking.
so I'm still watering it. hmmmm

Last year my Wine Delight didn't go dormant until I forced the issue by stopping watering...

I just got back from two week long vacation and the thing is bone dry but leaves are still green with little bit of yellowing tips. I just watered it today.
Maybe I should just keep it dry from now on.

Watch the bulbs. If they shrivel rapidly while still holding leaves they need water. If they don't shrivel, they're probably fine staying dry.

The peudobulb is as fat as ever! lol
The leaves started to turn yellow and brown near the tips while ago while the flowers were still on.
Then the yellowing has stopped.
hmmm

Maybe I should let it dry out and induce dormancy that way?
