Species Mormodes do it on the same flower. When the pollen is triggered, the flower moves so that it becomes female. It goes from that typical twisted look to less twisted after the pollen is triggered

that means it is still male and female in the same flower right?
isn't sexual dimorphism refering to the physical difference of male and female flowers (eg male flowers are colorul and female are green one with hood for the catasetum)? and in flowers showing sexual dimorphism, they are not perfect flowers.

I think perfect flowers refer to flowers with working male and female parts, though I might be wrong. While each flower contains both male and female parts, they are not functional at the same time. When the pollen is taken, the flower rotates and is only then functionally female. Is this a perfect flower? I honestly don't know!!

And since the flower is actually twisted as a male and not twisted as a female, it could technically be considered sexually dimorphic. I think...
