very interesting plant. spikes are usually growing downwards through the bottom of the pot.

instead of plastic bottom which is cut off is
wire with the moss that holds a substrate, so branch can pass through.

very fragrant.

I'm not really a Stanhopea fan, but this looks stunning against the sky like that.
