Default Stanhopea florida

In 2004 I received a flask of Stan. florida 'Miquel's Gift' X self, from Meyrs Conservatory. This came from Ecuador and is a yellow form. Of the remaining 10 plants this is the first to bloom. Some could have a darker yellow color.
The fragrance is a little like that of wardii with a paste wax smell.

Wow, amazing, and do I understand it correct, you got them in 2004 and this is the first to bloom, in 2013? That's what I called patience, I could not survive waiting so long! Thumbs Up! They truly grew a long time to mature plants!
