Default Catasetum Fogo Silvestre
This is a primary hybrid between Venezuelan sanguineum and Brazilian denticulatum, registered in 1996 for Antonio Schmidt. All crosses with denticulatum are fine, and sanguineum inherits the upright flower stem.
The name means forestal fire, and especially when the afternoon sun is glowing through the lip it gives honour to its name.
