Default Stanhopea Hidden Agenda

This is blooming rather early this year. It is Stan. insignis X posadae.

Outstanding cross! I think this is one where the progeny is as good as, or even better than the parents.

I have three species of Stanhopea and they all clearly have a hidden agenda when it comes to flowering (but then they are still quite young). Maybe this coming summer, they'll do something.

Great plant and flowers!

I like the fact that it bloomed so early for you. S. insignis seems to be good breeding stock. I enjoy all the hybrids I have seen with it in the cross.
