This is my favorite Stanhopea! Its the only Stan I took with me from Hawaii to Texas, though it has yet to bloom for me here.
I love how young these one are when they start blooming and yours has a really nice, porcelain white. Good work!

Nice photo. Did you get this plant from TOF? They have a habit of incorrectly identifyng stanhopeas.
This Stan. is candida not reichenbachiana. It's still a great looking flower though.

I was wondering if you were going to chip in on this because I wasn't sure if it was labeled incorrectly or just variability in the plant. I know I've had to change at least one name tag from TOF on my Stans after you've chimed in!  |

Oh wow, this isn't reichenbachiana? Thanks for the correction. It came from Marlow's Orchids (NY), not TOF (HI).
