Clowesia Rebecca Northern 'Grapefruit Pink'
A little straggly this year, due to bad weather when the buds were developing

This is a big plant! Wow!
Nice bloom, is it the plant you missed the giant bloom of last year?
You call is Clowesetum, is this one crossed with Catasetum or is it a tag mistake?
If my notes are correct it is Clowesia Rebecca Northen but it used to be called Catasetum Rebecca Northen

Besides Clowesia Rebecca Northen there exists also a hybrid Clowenoches with the same name, but no Clowesetum. Sometimes Clowesia was classified into Catasetum, then you would have to name it Catasetum Rebecca Northen. Thank you kallima.
Anyway a nice plant, Lars, with a bunch of flowers.

Yes: last years was bigger. We had a really lousy summer last year, with little sunshine and not a lot of heath.
Ah yes, it is Clowesia. I didn't check the label.

Very nice. I'm waiting for mine to spike, but I'll imagine the scent of yours in the meantime!
