Stanhopea wardii
The other spike of my S. wardii started to bloom. Flowers last only 2-3 days.
Funny looking scented flowers ...
... are my favorite.

Very cool!!! What season do these tend to bloom in? I have one that hasn't bloomed for 2 years, bought it wasn't mature either when I got it.

My S. wardii has bloomed always late autumn but can skip one year or two.

Gorgeous! I had one of these but the fragrance was too strong for us. They are such big, insect looking flowers. I love them!
