check the roots, pileatum are very robust growing catasetums.
keep them undivided for at least three cycles, if your culture condition is correct, you will see the new bulb being bigger than the previous bulb. when the plant reaches specimen size, they will produce excellent spikes and often multiple. mine is still a teenager, but the bulb is slightly over ten inches and from base of bulb to apex of leave is 31inches ++.
