Default Gongora cornuta

These buds belong to a Gongora cornuta. They are just like perfect small parcels and there is 17 in total on two spikes.

The first flowers opened up this morning and the buds on the other spike is just starting to open up now. Its just like a miracle to watch them and i just have to go out to the greenhouse to watch them all the time

These are among my favorite orchids and i think of "aliens" every time i am so fortunate/lucky to get a Gongora to flower.

I just love these weird little things. Even the name, 'GonGORa', is kind of creepy.
