Default Catasetum tenebrosum

I almost forgot this in the corner all winter and early spring I was surprised to find it has grown a large plant and thats when I started watering again...then the spike worried me that it might blast...I am lucky that I have at least four of the 12 buds that formed...this has a fragrance of ivory soap...very slight clean scent

Nice! This species would always start growing and then go dormant much sooner than my other Catasetinae. I would always keep it out in front of the others so as to know when it would need to be watered or not.

Nice plant! 4 buds is still better than none, and I like the color combo.
