Have you sent a photo back to Fred and verify that it is indeed what you ordered? Mistakes do happen.

I finally got aroung to looking at the total lineage of this cross and having done so it doesn't surprise me at all that many in this cross have come out green. One of the John C. Burchett parents, Ctsm Joao Stivalli also has two very dark red parents and came out green. Obviuosly there is something in it's genes that triggers the green gene when a certain combination of genes are present. And just so you know, the cross is growing on me.

I find that many of sunset valley crosses have high variability in resulting color. FDK After Dark for instance, I have seen anywhere from black to dark cream with spots. None the less I can see why you could be displeased, but I still like the flower.
