I love the shape, and wish I had some of those plants! When living in the US in 2010 I met a guy with a large Stanhopea collection and each one was more gorgeous looking that the last. The trouble with Stanhopea is that they need to be hanging in baskets, and I have nowhere to put one.

Camille, unlike Stanhopeas, Gongoras don't need to be in baskets. Baskets are not my thing either. I have 3 now that are in pots.

Its strange how people are usually interested in the Catasetinae and Stanhopinae alliances at around the same time. A fascination for weird flowers maybe? |
