73 ??!?
What sort of NPK ratio of time release fert do you mix in?

I think I may have finally picked one out: Clowesia Grace Dunn 'Chadds Ford' AM/AOS
Or maybe Cycnoches Wine Delight J.E.M. FCC/AOS....

I read that Mormodes should be avoided by beginners, but is there a genera easier than others?

Oh! Go with the Clowesia! That's a great variety!

I got my first one last month at my local orchid society. It's in straight sphagnum and the grower recommended fertilizing with general purpose 20-20-20 at every watering.

Cheers.
Jim
