Default Stanhopea lietzei
With a little "truce" of rain (24 rainy days in 27 calendar days!) I could pic some flowers. This variety of Stan lietzei (straw-colored with yellow stain in the hipochile, without eyes) is less common in cultivation. The flowers tend to be somewhat smaller than the other lietzei

Frederico,

how many 'color varieties' of S. lietzei are there ? If you have photographs of previous blooms, perhaps covering
ALL color varieties, could you show them side by side ?

Manfred, I think I've got to post some pictures of varieties of lietzei side by side, but can not remember if it was in the OB. I am overwhelmed with some things, but soon I should post something new.
