Yeah, that's the catch with breeding with Catasetums, you usually get one gender at a time. Male flowers are supposedly more common than female flowers, and from what I have heard, more extreme conditions are needed to cause female flowers. I wish there was a surefire way to get a gender you want.

Actually, a lot of really big, mature plants will only throw female flowers. I have that problem with a Cat tenebrosum, so I'm gonna chop the bejezzez out of it this summer!
