Default Ctsm 10 dragon, how long dormancy?

Hi, I have a ctsm 10 dragons, which I got last spring from SVO. Last summer I two full sized growths (slightly larger than the last year's) and 1 half sized. I am growing in S/H.

starting in november I began to reduce the fertilizer, and by mid november was giving RO water only. In the last few days, a new growth has started.

Does this mean that the dormancy period is over - should I start fertilizing again to feed the new growth?

thanks

will

As Chryss said, it could well be a spike (even though my 2 Ten Dragons belong to the plants that bloom when the PBs are still young and growing)
It could as well be a new growth, which is not uncommon either. Sometimes, plants just skip dormancy, and the best you can do is continue growing them....

nope! just wait until you are sure what it is...

Spike = no fertilizer
New Growth = wait until the roots are abot 2 inches long and then re-start fertilizer

Itīs a cross of (fimbriatum x saccatum) x tenebrosum. If the bulbs are mature, i would give two to three months of dormancy, which means reduced water and fertilizer. Even if a new growth is starting, it starts in the dryest period of the seasons in nature and will not suffer from being kept on the dry side. But watering too early can easily lead to rot. Just my experience.
