Catasetum denticulatum
The plant is 10" to the tip of the tallest leaf. Blooms are 1.5" tip to tip of lateral sepals. I was pleasantly surprised at how small it is !!! Wondering how much larger it will get ?

Ian, I got info from a friend;
Quote:
The denticulatum is a medium size grower but with flowers in the range you report. You could probably expect p-bulbs in the range of 4-6” with 5-10 leaves. Flower stems are arching to hanging and can be 12” or more with 20 or more flowers. Give it only a very short semi-dry rest during late Dec-January.

I love this one, Chryss, and yours looks very well grown. I did have a baby one but managed to kill it before it got going for me. Ah, well, some day!
