Default Coryopea Cutucu (Crths speciosa x Stan florida)

Today the (only) flower opens! First bloom, I bought it in January/07 from Ecuagenera, amongst another Stan species; this one has a great number of 'war wounds' when arrived, but it's a hybrid and blooms in 6 months. I posted a series of pics showing the flower "evolution"; the complete series is in my gallery

Hi Akoslehel,

Congrats, nice orch! Mine is in spike again! Unfortunately we are in the winter here, and it lost the first spike (due intense temp drop). I hope this second spike grows and bloom!

Hi Steve!

No, I can't remember the scent...probably not scented!

Hi Akos!

Yes, the spike grows slooooowly! It's a problem, the mini-snails have more time to attack it!
