Merlyn - I have a plant from the original seed cross. I have never managed to get a perfect spike to form, so aggravating. On it's last bloom, Fred Clarke was speaking at my society meeting, looked at my flowers and said that in his opinion they were better than any of the flowers that had been awarded to date. I have rented space this year in a friends greenhouse (he has better light conditions than I do) just to grow my plant and by hook or by crook I will get an FCC on this plant hopefully before the year is out.

Thank you.
I had 12 that I bought as small seedlings and grew them up. I was amazed at how varied the progeny from this cross were. I only kept two, this one a pure green one that I unfortunately lost to rot.
Out of all of the ones that I bloomed this by far was my favorite but I have to say, there wasn't a dog in the whole bunch. I guess that's what happens when you use quality parents and know what you are doing.
