Cycnodes Jumbo Canaan 'Nanook' AM/AOS
I sold a division of this one to another NCOS member 2 years ago. Last year she puts it in our October show/sale and it wins the AM/AOS award !!! Since it's the same plant as mine I get to add the name (don't ask me where she got it !) and the award to mine !
Cycnodes Jumbo Canaan 'Nanook' AM/AOS (Cyc. pentadactylon 'Jumbo Best' X Morm. sinuata 'Fire Ball')
The quirk here is that I almost killed mine this season, it's now dormant & doubtful, and I already told her I might have to ask for a piece of hers !

I lilke the spotting on that. It is hard for me to tell with the color on my screen, but is the background on the petals more orange or peach?

Doing trades can be a good safeguard.

I'd say the background is orange but the lip is peachy/pinky. I'm NOT real good at describing colors !

This one is really lovely! I have one too, but the flower colouration is by no means as nice as yours. More of a green background and almost red dots. Much higher colour contrast and less attractive.

That lady is such a fan of mine that she offered to give me her plant back and let me give her a piece of it !!!! Of course, I refused ! She's the one that got the award, not me.
