Default Catasetum Spotted Dragon 'Brevard'

This one's a regular ever since I got him 2 years ago. Last year I had him outside a bit longer than I should have and the first bloom was a female in the last pix. He bloomed for 2 weeks in July this season, then surprised me with this spike still in bloom today !!

There's a pix of him next to his Dad !!

I love these, but I just don't think I have the ability to not water for that long. Very nice growing.

Nice blooms. My pileatum grew outdoors in the same spot last year and bloomed twice. The first was female and the second male. Sun exposure was the same both times. They say lighting makes the difference but I wonder....

Default Wonder about Ten Dragons ?

Junebug, yeh, I wonder also !

I have Ctsm. Ten Dragons that is ABSOLUTELY blowing my mind !!! I thought ok, 3 separate spikes in a season is great and now you're putting up a new growth. NO, IT'S THE 4TH SPIKE THIS SEASON !!! April, May, July, and now September !!!

Below is an old but best pix and the female pix is from this July.
