Steve, yes the Ten Dragons has totally amazed me this season with 4 spikes each grown about a month apart !!! Didn't know they could do that ! My favorite genus truly amazes me all the time ! The plant is 19" tall not counting the pot. It's in a 4.5" clay inside a 5.5" for weight while outside.

Actually what you see is just leca filling up the space between pots. I haven't repotted it yet from the 4.5" pot I got it in so I don't know what media it's in. I do all my others in sphag, sometimes mixing in no more than 20% bark.

Mine is potted in mostly sphag with a little tree fern fiber thrown in for drainage. These guys sure get thirsty during summer when they're grown outdoors. I'm drenching with water twice a day just to keep the roots damp/moist.
