Default Houllettia wallisii

This one bloomed this morning! Related to the Stanhopea family. No scent tho! Don't know why it flowers upside down.

the blooms last about 6 days, day 4 its about to wilt..unlike the Stanhopeas, these don't have any fragrance so I don't know how these gets pollinated, flowers are also much smaller than stanhopeas.

fragrant or not, they are absolutely charming, love the whole alliance.

Very stunning flowers! Unique growing upside down and on the root area instead of flowering upwards towards heavens
